Robert "Bob" Rossal, a lifelong resident of Bethel, NY, passed away on Friday, August 23, 2013 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was 94 years of age.
Bob was the son of the late Robert J. and Margaretha Boucher Rossal, he was born on July 26, 1919 in Bethel, NY. He was a retired self-employed dairy farmer and truck driver. He was a 74 year member of the White Lake Fire Dept. and a member of the Dairymen's League.
Survivors include his wife of 70 years, Hilda Bruning Rossal at home; son, Jon R. Rossal at home; stepson, Robert Bruning and his wife Karen of Bainbridge, NY; daughters, Arlene Hillriegel and her husband Robert of Fremont Center, NY and Jane M. Wall and her husband James of Cochecton, NY; 12 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; 32 great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two sisters, Maye Menhesin and Olga Konopaf.
Visiting hours will be held today, Sunday, August 25 from 4-8 PM at Ramsay's Funeral Home, 3534 State Rt 55, Kauneonga Lake, NY 12749. White Lake Fire Dept. will hold Firematic services at 7 PM. Funeral services will be on Monday August 26, 2013 at Ramsay's Funeral Home. Rev. Paul Hagedorn will officiate. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery, Bethel, NY.
