Ronald F. Whitby, a lifelong Middletown resident, passed away on Tuesday November 14, 2017 at Achieve Rehab & Nursing Facility in Liberty, NY at the age of 82. He was born on December 5, 1934 in Middletown, NY. Ronald was a retired Chef at the Orange County Dept. of corrections in Goshen, NY.
Survivors include his sons, Robert Whitby and Ronnie Whitby of Middletown, NY; his daughter, Brenda Babcock and her husband William of Barryville, NY; brother, Bennie Whitby and wife Hilda of Middletown; sister, Marjorie Boyd and husband John of Middletown ; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by several siblings.
Burial will take place on Friday November 17, 2017 at Wallkill Cemetery in Middletown at Noon.
Funeral arrangements are by Ramsay's Funeral Homes Inc. Liberty, NY.
