She was raised by her loving grandmother, Estelle “Mama," in Mount Vernon, New York.She received her high school diploma and had the opportunity to attend college as well. Later in life, she worked for MTA as a token booth clerk for 25 years. Those who had the privilege to know her knew her as someone with a loving, funny, and caring spirit. That being said, you definitely did not want to cross her path when she was mad.She is survived by her only daughter, Shantel; her grandchildren, Justin, Taylor, and Jared; and her grandchildren, Jordyn and Jaylen.
