Rosemarie Hewlett

Rosemarie Hewlett, a homemaker and lifelong Liberty resident, passed away on Saturday March 26, 2016 at the Skilled Nursing Unit at Catskill Regional Medical Center in Harris, NY. She was 83. One of nine children, she was born on March 15, 1933 to the late Harry Lee Huebsch and the late Pearl Bilyou Huebsch.

Rose was a member of Liberty United Methodist Church; Liberty VFW Post #9217 Ladies Auxiliary and the Foster Grandparents Program at Liberty High School.

Survivors include sons, Walter Hewlett and his wife Jean of Livingston Manor and Steven Hewlett and his wife Donna of Liberty; brother, Harry Lee Huebsch and wife Elizabeth of Livingston Manor; sisters, Mabel Recchia of Ledgewood, NJ and Henrietta Phelps of Liberty; grandchildren, Tabatha Ivory, Steven Hewlett Jr., Jessica Hewlett and Jordan Hewlett; great-grandchildren, Hope Marie Corbett and Steven Hewlett III and several nieces and nephews. Rose was predeceased by her husband, Walter Hewlett and her siblings, Clarence Huebsch, Lester Huebsch, Jean Fallon, Eldora MacArthur and Carl Huebsch.

Visiting hours will be on Wednesday March 30, 2016 from 11 AM to 1 PM at Ramsay's Funeral Home, 275 S. Main St. Liberty, NY. Funeral services will be held at 1 PM at Ramsay's Funeral Home with Rev. Bridgette LeConey officiating.
