Rudolf Bezak of Mountaindale, NY passed away on February 23, 2023. He was 72 years old.
He was the son of the late Margita Bazakova and Florian Bezak. Rudolf "Rudo" was born in Krusovce and immigrated to the United States from former Czechoslovakia to live with his grandfather in New York City. He worked for a manufacturing company making medical devices in New York City. He moved to Sullivan County in 1970 and lived at the Slovak Country Club. He worked at Wire Goods factory.
He loved to go to the deli to see people and to enjoy his coffee and delicious sandwiches. He liked swimming, picking up mushrooms and fishing. He was a dreamer and a special soul. His dream was to work in the aerodynamic industry. He was a wondrous person seeking new connections with people in person and in correspondence.
He was predeceased by his mother and father. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his brothers Dusan and Milan Bezak and sister Eva Bezakova.
A mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, March 3, 2023 at Immaculate Conception Church, Woodbourne, NY 12788 at 12:00pm. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery, Parsonage Rd., Woodbourne, NY.
