Samuel Preston Vail, 54, of Woodbourne, NY, passed away on July 12, 2013 at his home.
The son the late Archibald and Theresa Finnigan Vail, he was born on March 6, 1959 in Middletown, NY.
He is survived by his wife, Jo-Anne Edwards Vail at home; a son, James Henry Osterhaudt of Ellenville, NY; a daughter, Angelina Edwards of New York City; brothers, Harry Shaffer of Warwick, Roger Vail of Pine Bush, Edward Vail and Thomas Francis Vail, both of Middletown; a sister, Marsha Skiff of Napanoch and several nieces and nephews.
Cremation took place at Cedar Hill crematory in Middle Hope, NY. Burial of ashes will take place at Stockport Cemetery at a later date.
