Dearest Sarah,
Your wide eyes miraculously entered this world into a room with our Mother, Penny Bea Berger, our father, Michael Wiener, Gram and Grandpa Berger, and a heap of joyous folks in the waiting room. You walked early and talked always. To me, your laughter was contagious. You always knew what you wanted and you were never afraid to go and get it. You excelled during all of your years in school as a left-handed genius. You were a friend to all but chose your special three; Annie, Melko, and Brooke. There wasn't much you did without them and you still managed to stay close when you all lived in different states. You always did live fast and you married the love of your life, Michael Mauri, on December 29, 2014. Your favorite times were spent amongst our family. The whole lot of us Grandma Mary, Grandpa Ralph, Grandma Punky, Poppa Paulie, Aunt Merrie, Uncle Mike, Uncle Mitch, Aunt Rebecca, Aunt Sue, Uncle Teddy, Uncle Jeff, Aunt Tabby, Cousins; Eric, Corey, Rachel, Travis, Delaney, Justin, Jacob, Ally, Your in-laws; Evelyn, Jose, Cheryl, little Jose, Vanessa, and Liz. Though, our family extends much further than blood. You left this world far too soon on January 6, 2016. The world is a lesser place without your presence. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you please donate to the Make-A-Wish foundation in Sarah's honor. "Goodnight, sleep tight, wake up bright, in the morning light, that's right."

Family will receive friends on Saturday, January 9, 2016 from 6-9pm at Colonial Memorial Funeral Home, 396 State Route 52, Woodbourne, NY 12788. A celebration of her life will take place on Sunday, January 10, 2016 at the funeral home at 12pm.
