Scott J. Bonnell of Hurleyville, NY passed away on Friday, January 23, 2015 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was 46.
He was the son of James and Sally L. Lyons Bonnell, born on September 2, 1968 in Monticello, NY.
He was an avid outdoorsman; he enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping, he was a member of The Horseshoe Hunting Club in Parksville and the Liberty Elks Lodge. He was a loving son, husband, father, uncle and friend to all that knew and loved him.
He is survived by his devoted wife Patricia L. Bonnell, his mother Sally Bonnell of Grahamsville, his children Wade Bonnell and Hope Costa, his sister Kelly Krzyzak and her husband Donovan of Bloomingburg, his niece and nephew Ashlyn and Noah Krzyzak, his mother and father-in-law John and Doris Bowers of Hurleyville, his sister and brother-in-law Sue and Earl Osterhout and a host of friends.
There will be memorial visiting at Colonial Memorial Funeral Home 396 State Route 52 Woodbourne, NY 12788 from 7-9:00pm on Tuesday, January 27, 2015. A funeral service will be on Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at the Grahamsville Reformed Church, State Route 55, Grahamsville, NY 12740 at 10:30am.
Donations in Scott's name can be made to Hospice of Orange and Sullivan Counties 800 Stony Brook Court, Newburgh, NY 12550, or to Grahamsville Reformed Church State Route 55, Grahamsville, NY 12740.
