Scott Gilson, of Liberty, NY, passed away on Thursday, July 4, 2024 at home. He was 52.
He was born on November 4, 1971 in Middletown, NY.
Scott worked in the maintenance department at Villa Roma in Callicoon, NY. In his free time he enjoyed working with his hands and crafting with wood or forging. He loved wolves and black and red were his signature colors. He was a loving father and grandfather. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his daughter Callie Jo Decker and son-in-law Christopher Avellino; as well as grandchildren Dakota, Alyessia, Raphael, Leonardo and Ariella; along with extended family and friends.
A memorial visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 10, 2024 from 2 to 4pm at Colonial-Ramsay Funeral Home, 275 S. Main Street, Liberty, NY 12754.
