Sheila
Schleiermacher
Oct 6, 1942 — Oct 30, 2026
Sheila Schleiermacher passed away peacefully on October 30, 2026, surrounded by the love that she so freely gave throughout her life.
Sheila was a loving, gentle, and caring woman whose heart had room for everyone. She had a special way of making those around her feel loved and cared for, and she never hesitated to go above and beyond for her family. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and aunt, whose kindness, warmth, and selflessness will forever be remembered by all who had the blessing of knowing her.
Sheila found joy in life's simple and beautiful things. She had a special love for hummingbirds and always made sure her feeders were filled and waiting for their return. She enjoyed tending to her garden, nurturing the beauty around her, and crocheting blankets for her family. Each blanket was more than something made by hand; it was a piece of her love, warmth, and thoughtfulness that her family will treasure for years to come.
Though her passing leaves an immeasurable ache in the hearts of those who love her, there is comfort in knowing she has been reunited in loving arms with those who went before her: her beloved sister, Donna; her son, Richard; and her daughter, Krystal. Their reunion is a reminder that the bonds of love are never truly broken.
Sheila leaves behind a large and loving family spanning generations, each of whom carries a piece of her heart and will continue to carry her love with them forever.
She is survived by her beloved children, Erica, Lynnea, Myranda, and Charles; her precious grandchildren, Lauren, Avery, Avena, Jason, Kevin, Rosella, Jennifer, Rebecca, Tuvok, Alexander, Catherine, Mia, and Emalee; and her cherished great-grandchildren, Zackery, Shane, Izzabella, Aria, Jaxon, Suriah, Clark, Inara, Aurora, Sara, and Krystal.
She also leaves behind her adored nieces, Debbie, Tina, and Carla, along with her grandnieces and grandnephews, Christine, Jeremy, Cassandra, Robert, Nathaniel, and Timothy.
Sheila's love was woven into the lives of her family in countless ways: through her gentle heart, her thoughtful gestures, the time she gave so freely, and the memories that will be cherished for generations. Though she may no longer be here to fill the hummingbird feeders, tend her garden, or wrap her loved ones in the warmth of a handmade blanket, her spirit will live on in all the little things that remind them of her.
She was loved deeply in this life, and that love will never end. Her family takes comfort in knowing that she is once again surrounded by loving arms, while those she leaves behind will forever hold her close in their hearts.
