"Brian" Stewart, of Poughkeepsie, NY, passed away on March 1, 2023 at The Pines at Poughkeepsie Center. He was 83.He was the son of the late Stanley Dean Stewart and Edna Mae (Brewer) Stewart, born on April 3, 1939 in Liberty, NY.Brian was a proud graduate of New Paltz High School after which he enrolled in the US Airforce and served from 1957 until 1960. He then went on to his career in computer manufacturing for IBM.He is survived by his aunt Isabelle Tuttle; niece and nephews Leroy II (Laura), Cheryll Mansfield and Kenneth (Cathy); sister-in-law Judy Stewart; several great-nieces and nephews; and a host of cousins and extended family. He is predeceased by his daughter Laurie Kaelber, brothers Leroy and Dean Stewart; and nieces Debbie Campbell and Tracy Stewart.A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 4, 2023 at Colonial Memorial Funeral Home, 396 State Route 52, Woodbourne, NY 12788 with full military honors.
