Steven Friedman, a longtime area resident, passed away on Thursday December 20, 2012 at Orange Regional Medical Center in Middletown, NY. He was 61.
The son of the late Hyman and Rose Weitz Friedman, he was born on March 26, 1951 in New York City.
He was a retired garment manufacturer in New York City and he was a harness racing enthusiast and avid golfer.
Survivors include his devoted wife of 39 years, Ann Miller Friedman at home; his daughter, Cary Lyn Friedman of Fort Lee, NJ; his brother, Jay Friedman and wife Bonnie of Boca Raton, FL and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will take place on Sunday December 23, 2012 at 1:00 PM at Ahavath Isreal Cemetery on Hysanna Rd, Liberty, NY.
