Steven Talent, 69, passed away on Friday, October 4th, 2024. Steven was a beloved brother, friend, and an inspiring spirit whose warmth and joy touched the lives of many that came across him.
Steven lived life to the fullest. He found happiness in simple pleasures—checking the mail, going for walks, and recycling bottles and cans. Steven had a great appreciation for the arts, especially music. His passion for music extended to his admiration for the King of Pop, Michael Jackson, whose songs brought him immense joy and inspired many dances and sing-along sessions in his living room. A true superhero fan, he cherished the adventures of Batman and Spider-Man, embodying their resilience and courage.
Steven is survived by his sister, Diane Rose, who will carry his memory in her heart forever. He is also survived by his loving roommates at his group home, who became like family to him. They shared countless memories, laughter, and a strong bond that enriched their lives together. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his spirit will live on in the laughter and love he shared.
A visitation will be held from 10 to 11am on Wednesday, October 9, 2024 at Colonial Memorial Funeral Home, 396 State Route 52, Woodbourne, NY 12788. A funeral service will follow at the funeral home.
