Susan Feal

Susan B. Feal of Hurleyville, New York passed away Sunday, December 28, 2025, at home.

The daughter of the late John and Barbara Edwards, she was born April 13, 1949, in Monticello NY.

Susan's most rewarding career was her time at the Beaumont Estates working with students with developmental disabilities. She was a compassionate woman with a remarkable gift of listening, always meeting others with patience, empathy, and an open heart. A devoted mother, grandmother, and sister; she stood a steady beacon of kindness and understanding within her family and to all who were fortunate enough to know her.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Torri Edwards of Hurleyville, NY and her son, John Evans (Nicole) of Yonkers, NY. Her grandchildren Kristen (Shane) Reid of Kauneonga Lake, NY., and Yvonne (Tim) Eronimous of Swan Lake, NY. Two great-grandchildren, Timmy Thomas and Timothy Cova. Two sisters Joanne (Ray) Evans of Kauneonga Lake, NY and April Edwards (Noel) of Woodburne NY. Nephews Chris (Desiree) of Sherman Oaks California, Luke (Meg) of Callicoon NY and Tyler (Danielle) of Holmes NY along with several cousins.

She was predeceased by her first husband, Timothy Evans and her second husband, Joseph "Sonny" Feal.

Visitation will be on Sunday, January 4, 2026, at Colonial Memorial Funeral Home, 396 State Route 52 Woodbourne, NY 12788 from 12:00pm to 2:00pm. A funeral service will immediately follow at 2:00pm. Interment will be at the Sullivan County Veterans Cemetery.
