Tatyana Shtilman

Tatyana Shtilman, a beloved wife, and mother, passed away at Catskill Regional Medical Center on March 28, 2025, at the age of 84. She was born on April 25, 1940, in Moscow, Russia, to the late Ivan and Eugenia Shulakoff.

Tayana’s life was defined by her passion for the arts and her deep love of family. A dedicated piano teacher for many years, she inspired countless students with her patience and dedication to the craft. In addition to her work as a teacher, Tatyana was an avid reader, a gardening enthusiast, and an accomplished cook who delighted in sharing her culinary creations with loved ones. Watching TV was also one of her favorite pastimes, as it provided her with joy and relaxation.

Her family fondly remembers her warm spirit and generous heart. Tatiana’s presence will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her. She is survived by her husband, Arthur Shtilman; her son, Sergey Shtilman; and her cousin, Olga Uvarov.

A family statement reads, “Dear Mama, we love you, and we will continue talking to your spirit.”

Tatyana’s legacy of love, kindness, and dedication will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her.
