Teresa Lynn Trotta of Liberty passed away on Wednesday, August 5, 2020. She was 48.
She was the daughter of Valeria and Glenn Merklin, born on February 12, 1972 in Liberty, NY.
Throughout her career at Sullivan ARC she held many positions. If you knew her you knew she would light up the room the moment she walked in. She was a loving person that enjoyed helping people in need, she would give the shirt off her back. She will be sorely missed.
She is survived by her parents Valeria Bischert, Glenn William Merklin Sr., her grandmother Betty Horton, her sister Linda Simanovicz and her husband Delois Irwin, her brothers Glenn Merlin Jr. and his wife Jenn, Glenn Rolland, Ian "Ralph" Irwin and his companion Lexi, Taylor Merklin, her nieces and nephews Marissa and Matthew Simanovicz, Ariel Irwin, Heather and Derrick Rolland, Marina and Xander Greco and Kyle Merklin, her great nieces and nephews Travis, Tyler and Tanner Simanovicz, Konner and Kameron McLaughlin, several aunts and uncles and a host of friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 9, 2020 at Colonial-Bryant Funeral Home, 29 Pearl Street, Livingston Manor, NY 12758 from 12-2:00pm. A funeral service will be held at 1:30pm at the funeral home, Rev. Walter Haff will officiate. Social distancing guidelines set forth by the New York State Department of Health will be in place; a limit of 10 visitors at a time will be allowed in the funeral home and facemasks are required at all times.
