Thomas Patrick Gilmartin, 74, of Liberty, NY, passed away at his residence on Thursday January 9, 2014. The son of the late Thomas and Patricia O'Reilly Gilmartin, he was born on January 23, 1939 in the Bronx.
He was a retired office worker for Verizon in New York City and he was a member of St. Peter's Church in Liberty, NY.
Survivors include three nieces and eight great-nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and his sister, Kathleen Giarratano.
Cremation took place at Cedar Hill Crematory in Middle Hope, NY. A Memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at 10 AM at St. Peter's Church, 264 N. Main St. Liberty, NY. Monsignor Edward Straub will officiate.
