Thomas Hendrickson

d. February 20, 2025

Thomas Hendrickson of White Lake, NY passed away peacefully on February 20, 2025, surrounded by his family.

He was born on February 1, 1943, in Bridgeport, Connecticut, to the late Claude Hendrickson and Ruth Bloom.

Thomas was a dedicated and hard-working man who spent many years as a long-distance truck driver. He was an active member of the Elks Lodge in Monticello and served as the Past Chief of the White Lake Fire Department, where he was also a lifetime member. His commitment to his community extended beyond his professional life.

In his free time, Thomas enjoyed a variety of hobbies, including hunting, fishing, and building and flying model airplanes. He also had a passion for stock car racing at Bethel Motor Speedway and playing softball with the White Lake Fire Department. An avid NASCAR fan, Thomas found joy in spending time with his family and friends, particularly cheering on his grandchildren at their sporting events. One of his favorite pastimes was mowing, especially when it came to Evergreen Cemetery, which he took great pride in. He also enjoyed playing pool and was known for his sense of humor and prankster spirit. Above all, Thomas had a heart of gold and was always willing to help others, even to the point of taking the shirt off his back.

Thomas is survived by his loving wife, Lillian Hendrickson, and their dog Peanut. He leaves behind his children: Mona (Fausto) Nieves, Faith (Steven) Hollander, Hope (Robert) Bock, Sam (Wanda) Berger, Lisa (Frank) Muller, Shaun (Amber) Berger, Tracy (Pedro) Agapito, and son-in-laws Patrick Cunningham, James Rennison. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren, his brother Richard (Linda) Hendrickson, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends. He was predeceased by his daughter, Lillian “Poochie” Rennison.
