Thomas Jones, a longtime area resident, passed away on Sunday June 22, 2014 at Catskill Regional Medical Center in Harris, NY. He was 59. The son of the late Edward P. and Flora T. Treacy Jones, he was born on October 27, 1954 in Cornwall, NY.
He was the owner and operator of Family Auto in Liberty, NY. He was a member of St. Peter's Church in Liberty and was a proud 26-year member of Alcoholics Anonymous.
Survivors include a son, Edward M. Jones and wife Trina of Neversink, NY; daughter, Lisa Jones and her companion John Felicano of Livingston Manor, NY; brother, Greg Jones and wife Susan of Cornwall on Hudson; sister, Terry Macaluso and husband Michael of Las Vegas, NV; five grandchildren, Edward Jones Jr., Antonio Garcia, Talea Panzer, Linda Jones and Alicia Negron and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Treacy Jones.
Calling hours will be Wed. June 25 from 7 - 9 PM at Ramsay's Funeral Home, Liberty, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, June 26 at 11:45 AM at St. Peter's Church, Liberty, NY. Burial will follow the mass at Peacedale Cemetery in Highland Falls, NY.
