Thomas J. Lambert, age 78, passed away peacefully at home on December 16, 2024. Born in St. Mary's, Pennsylvania on November 19, 1946, to the late James Harold Lambert and Valery Caroline Herzing.
Thomas had a distinguished career as a Professor of Sociology at SUNY Sullivan, where he dedicated many years to educating and inspiring his students. His passion for teaching and his deep commitment to his students left an indelible mark on those who had the privilege of learning from him.
He is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Arlene Lambert, who shared his life and many cherished memories. Thomas will also be deeply missed by his extended family and friends, all of whom were touched by his kindness and wisdom.
Services to honor and celebrate Thomas’s life will be held at a later date in both New York and Pennsylvania.
