William G. Drasher Sr. of Eldred, died on Saturday January 11, 2014 at Orange Regional Medical Center in Middletown, NY. He was 73. The son of the late William and Ruby Brown Drasher, he was born on March 3, 1940 in Hazleton, PA.
William was a retired carpenter for the Villa Roma Resort in Callicoon, NY and was a member of Eldred United Methodist Church.
He leaves behind his loving wife of 50 years, Audrey Dauch Drasher at home; his son, William G. Drasher Jr. and his wife Traci of Eldred; his daughter, Audrey V. Parker and her husband Christopher of Sequin, TX; brother, Oscar Drasher and wife Mary of Nescopeck, PA; sister, Mary Ryman of Spring Hill, FL; five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by sisters, Clara and Mary.
Visitation will be on Thursday January 16 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Ramsay's Funeral Home, 3534 Rt 55, Kauneonga Lake, NY. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Friday January 17 at 11 AM. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Route 17B, Bethel, NY.
