William T. Cubbon, of Liberty, died on Sunday June 16, 2013 at his home. He was 73.
The son of the late Henry and Gladys Laken Cubbon, he was born on September 1, 1939 in Hackensack, NJ.
William was a security guard for Kolmar Labs in Port Jervis, NY. He was a former member of the Mechanicstown Fire Dept. ( Town of Wallkill), an avid bowler, softball player and Little League Coach.
Survivors include his companion, Dorothy "Midge" Newkirk at home; daughters, Julie Cole (Elvan) of Milwaukee, WI and Debra Fitzgerald (Patrick) of Fenton, MO; stepdaughters, Donna Lynch (John) of Shohola, PA, Diane Walling (David) of Liberty, Debbie Suzel of New York and Ruth Jones of Hurleyville, NY; 13 grandchildren; one great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call today, Thursday June 20, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at Ramsay's Funeral Home, 275 S. Main St. Liberty, NY. Cremation will take place at Cedar Hill Crematory, Middle Hope, NY.
