Wilson Mateo, of Livingston Manor, passed away on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at Albany Medical Center after a long illness. He was 45. The son of the late Felix Mateo and Justina DeJesus, he was born in Santa Isabel, Puerto Rico on October 19, 1970..
He is survived by his wife, Marsha Young Mateo at home; stepsons, Michael Ortiz, Brian Ortiz and Edwin Ortiz, all of Livingston Manor; daughters, Melissa Mateo and Jasmine Mateo, both of Ohio; step-daughter, Sondra Gamboa of Livingston Manor; a grandson, Tyler Zayas; a sister, Mary Mateo of Conn.; several brothers, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visiting hours are on Saturday, February 6, 2016 from Noon to 4 PM at Ramsay's Funeral Home, 275 S. Main St. Liberty, NY. Funeral services will be at the funeral home at 4 PM.
Cremation will take place at Cedar Hill crematory in Middle Hope, NY.
